Kate Meynell, Chair of the National Police Chiefs Council Homicide Working Group and Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire Police will chair a new External Assurance Group (EAG) that will independently scrutinise the Commission’s proposed methodologies and approaches for carrying out its investigations.

ICRIR BEGINS RECRUITMENT FOR FRONTLINE VICTIM SUPPORT AND INVESTIGATOR ROLES
The Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery is now recruiting for frontline roles who will provide support to requesting victims, survivors and their families and who will carry out the ICRIR’s investigations. It is seeking experienced professionals to carry out these new roles, following a trauma informed approach. This is part of preparatory work to hire and train dedicated and expert officers to carry out the Commission’s work from the summer.
