The Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery is issuing an appeal for information as part of the investigation into the death of Teresa Carson in November 1974.
Teresa was found dead at 12:40am on Sunday 24 November 1974 at the side of the Glen Road close to the junction with Shaw’s Road, Belfast. Teresa, a mother-of-four, was 47 years old at the time of her death and her family are looking for resolution.
It is believed that Teresa attended St John’s GAC Social Club, Whiterock Road, Belfast on the evening of Saturday 23 November 1974, and she was witness to a robbery at the club. She was last seen in the grounds of the club at 12:15am on Sunday 24 November 1974, getting into a white coloured car.
This case remains unsolved, and we believe someone may hold vital information. If you know anything, no matter how small, you could help Teresa’s family and our investigation.
